This post was supposed to come on Sunday, but then I decided to make it slightly more interesting, which meant the post had to wait until today.
But here it is. I’m giving you a small sneak peak of something that I hope to be able to give you a much fuller view of around June 11.
I’m working on something, and I’m pretty darn excited about it. I can’t wait to tell you more about it and show you more about it.
I can’t give you too much more information because one of these is a gift knit for someone who I think reads the blog. But I have some designs up my sleeve…and I’m hoping to have more coming soon.
But for now, I’m going to leave you with some lovely (in my humble opinion) pictures…and the names Mary and Beatrice. And one last clue…
Confession: May Photo a Day isn’t working for me this year. I tried for the first five days of May, but I’m realizing that while it might work on weekends, following a schedule of prompts doesn’t fit with my busy work life this month. Therefore, I have decided to postpone until July. I have found a set of prompts that should work for me, and I’ll go from there.
I’ll still be blogging…and taking pictures. But for right now, I need to take a step back and focus on finishing the school year with as much of my sanity in tact as humanly possible.
I’ll see you all on the flip side. Hopefully, I’ll be back soon (like Sunday maybe?) with some exciting new knitting news.
Also, please feel free to click “like” on the new Facebook page!
The prompt for yesterday was “drink.” The prompt for today is “Mexican.” I’m combining them with my blackberry margarita and calling this two days worth of posting in one day.
I bought these adorable bright blue buttons almost two years ago, and I still haven’t used them. So instead, they just add to the general organized chaos of my dress. And I love them like that.
This is from my Saturday grading binge. It’s a piece of evidence that would suggest that a sixteen-year-old boy might have better handwriting than me.
I’ve decided to (try to) do “May Photo a Day” again this year. I did it pretty successfully last year, and this year, I think it’ll be a distraction/amusement during a busy month. I’m using this set of guidelines this year; it seemed to be the best set of prompts for my life.
Day One is shoes, so here are some of my shoes. I wear the ballet flats the most, but I love those heels the most. I need an excuse to wear them more often.
